Let's put things into perspective, Heraklion airport is not the best airport in Greece but it's not the worst. Every airport has its good points and its bad points.
It has recently had a refurbishment so they are trying to improve.  In the past, reviews of the airport could be quite shocking, however, things are improving and getting better with time.

In the summer months it is at its busiest, so do expect large crowds at check-in, one improvement is through security control, there are now six security gates where in the past it only had two which means passing through the airport's security is much faster meaning slightly less stress.

Once through, you are now welcomed with a much larger and improved duty-free area which you need to pass through so grab a deal if you can.

In the past the airport did get bad reviews for seating or lack of it and dirty toilets, this has now been rectified along with lots more eateries so departing can be a nice experience to what it was.

Arriving in Heraklion, you are met by good quality air-conditioned coaches which bring you to the terminal building.
Immigration can bit hit and miss but most times you can pass through them quite quickly, one improvement we have seen is the speed of baggage reclaim, on numerous occasions we have passed through immigration only to find our bags already on the belts.

One thing to note is the lack of trolleys so please be aware, apart from that the arrival experience was quite good.

Your return will be scheduled in our planning, however if you wish you can contact us to confirm.

I have more passengers in my group can I add them to my booking?

Yes this is possible but this may mean a change in vehicle and price - any changes are subject to availability.

My flights have changed what should I do?

Please contact us as soon as possible with the new flight details as we need to recheck availability, when confirmed you will be issued with a new transfer voucher.

Do you charge for car seats for children?

    I was in a very tricky situation, whilst I was waiting inside London Stansted Airport Terminal for my departure flight, my travel plans from Fuerteventura Airport to the apartment got changed. I quickly had to search online to find airport transfer to Corralejo. Some companies refused to accept my booking due to not giving them advance notice.

    Excellent service from start to finish, picked up from the airport with no delays, was a little worried on our return back, as are pick up was 4am in the morning, there was no need to worry as our driver was there spot on time.     We used Cheap-Taxis this week for transfers from Pisa airport to Florence. Don’t be put off by the name ‘Cheap’- this does not reflect the service at all;
    clean luxury cars (with free sweets!), kind helpful drivers and a really efficient service. and all for more that £100 less than other quotes.
    I needed to change the collection time for our return journey and this was requested on a Sunday and answered and sorted out within a couple of hours.
    I can’t speak highly enough of this service and will definitely be using and recommending them in the future.

    This is the first time using Cheap Taxis and it won’t be the last. From our first enquiry about the service with Paul we felt confident booking.
    The driver was waiting for us as we came out of baggage reclaim, he took us to the mini bus which was clean and comfortable. On the return journey we asked to change our pick up time and this was done straight away for us, the driver was spot on time for pick up. They even followed this up when we got home checking everything went well with our pick up.

So I have booked my transfer, what next?

Check your emails for your eticket voucher, this needs to be shown to your driver when you arrive at Heraklion airport.
You can either print the voucher or show your driver it on your mobile phone.
