Let's not fool anyone, Innsbruck airport also known as Kranebitten airport is not the biggest airport in Austria, but its location located 2.5 miles or 4 km from Innsbruck centre makes it a perfect choice for skiers travelling to the Tyrol region.
Its peak periods are obviously the winter months where the airport can get very busy and can get overcrowded at times, at check-in but also on arrival.
The airport has only one runway, 12 gates and limited baggage carousels for baggage reclaim.

I was in a very tricky situation, whilst I was waiting inside London Stansted Airport Terminal for my departure flight, my travel plans from Fuerteventura Airport to the apartment got changed. Excellent service from start to finish, picked up from the airport with no delays, was a little worried on our return back, as are pick up was 4am in the morning, there was no need to worry as our driver was there spot on time. Highly recommended and will defiantly using again in the near future.

This is the first time using Cheap Taxis and it won't be the last. From our first enquiry about the service with Paul we felt confident booking.
The driver was waiting for us as we came out of baggage reclaim, he took us to the mini bus which was clean and comfortable. On the return journey we asked to change our pick up time and this was done straight away for us, the driver was spot on time for pick up. They even followed this up when we got home checking everything went well with our pick up.
SEEFELD:
The beautiful ski resort of Seefeld is located very close to Innsbruck, just a 30min drive from the airport makes it one of the closest.
Better known for its cross country trails it only has a downhill piste of just 40km however it is a family favourite due to the child-friendly facilities.
It was in the past a former Olympic town, no wonder families return year on year.
