LINATE AIRPORT - Your guide.
A nice airport really, staff seem very pleasant and speak good English.
Milan Linate is one of three airports that serve Milan city and the surrounding areas but is the closest to the city centre.
The terminal building seems modern with ground floor facilities providing banks, ATMs and currency exchange.
Throughout the airport, you will find a small number of bars, shops, fast food outlets and small snack bars. There is a nice duty-free shop for those special gifts.
Around the airport you can connect to the wifi free of charge, one thing we did note, we couldn’t locate many charging points which was a shame. Toilets seemed clean and included disabled facilities and there was plenty of seating around most areas.
There are x3 car parks at Milan Linate airport, P1 and P2 are short stay which is located in the terminal building and P3 is located outside opposite.
There are a number of car hire facilities at the airport including Hertz, Europcar, Budget and many more.
Four good size baggage carousels for arriving passengers and baggage arrival times to the belts seem quite quick.
Signage around the airport seemed good overall with plenty of FID screens with airline information.
The airport can get busy in the summer months like most airports and it does seem to function well overall.
To conclude, this was a good experience both arriving at the airport and also checking in to the flight departure so no complaints!
