MALPENSA AIRPORT - Your guide.
Malpensa airport has two terminals which are covered over four floors.
The underground floor is more of a connection area as it houses the Malpensa express train station and access to the Sheraton hotel.
Also located here are the car hire companies.
The next level, the ground floor, is where all the arrivals come in and baggage reclaim and customs are found.
There are a number of bars and restaurants and some retail outlets.
The departures level is found on the first floor with passport control, to reach the departure gates you will travel through the duty-free area via a lovely glass staircase.
There are ATMs dotted about, an information desk and the VIP lounges to relax in.
Also found on the first floor is a pharmacy and a currency exchange sales desk.
Kids won’t be bored while waiting for their flight as there is a great nursery that will keep their minds busy.
The check-in area at Malpensa airport is located on the second floor with good service facilities, including a chapel and more retail outlets.
Lastly, on the third floor, you can find more restaurants and café bars.
Connecting from one terminal to the other can be done by the Malpensa express train service.
The connection between terminals run daily from 04:27 am to 00:20 am.
To use this service, all passengers must have a valid ticket issued from any of the Malpensa terminals.
The following terminal locations:
Terminal 1: The train station is located on -1 floor (underground floor). The ticket office is open daily from 06:15 am to 09:20 pm.
Terminal 2: The train station is located on the -1 floor and is linked to Terminal 2 by a pedestrian walkway. The ticket office is open daily from 08:30 am to 11:00 pm.
