We love a small well run airport and Rhodes airport is one of these airports.
It's small, clean and very friendly, in fact, it's one of the friendliest Greece airports we have visited.
Nice to have WiFi but we didn't see many charging points, the toilets were spotless.
For eating you have a Burger King, Starbucks, French bakery, a Greek corner, and a bistro (sandwich’s and pizza), prices are your usual airport rates; however, we did find a great deal on a 5.00eur baguette which was very nice. Not many locations though to fill a bottle of water, however, the price in the duty-free shop was quite reasonable compared to other airports.
Check-in was quite straightforward, we did see some queuing but did move quickly.
Through to security was easy, friendly staff but we found that all over the island that in Greece the people were all lovely.
There is quite a walk to get to the gates so be aware.
To get to your aircraft there are no airbridges, so you will be transported by bus. Normally boarding will be slightly earlier due to this so give yourself plenty of time to get to your gate.
Arriving at Rhodes airport was easy, again we departed the aircraft side by bus to be transported to the terminal building.
Getting through customs was very easy and baggage reclaim seemed very fast so we were quite impressed.
A soon as you have all your luggage simply locate the exit where you will find your driver waiting for you.
If for any reason your luggage is delayed, your driver will wait for you so don't worry
If we had to give Rhodes airport a rating out of five we would probably give it 4 because it does seem well run, and as a result, we feel the only thing letting itself down is more retail services but I suppose lacking in size adds to the reason why.
Most of all we did like our visit to Rhodes airport.

Booked for the first time for a transfer from Tenerife Airport to our apartment
Our driver was waiting for us once we had collected our luggage.
We were taken straight to our taxi which was a small mini bus very clean & tidy & dropped off outside our apartment.
As instructed I contacted them the day before our return journey & asked if they could pick us up at a different entrance to our apartment & they actually sent a picture to check the exact location.
On the pick up day the taxi was already waiting for us .
I would definitely use Cheap Taxis again excellent service.
I’ve recently returned from a few nights away in Fuerteventura and used Cheap Taxis for our transfer from the airport to El Cotillo. Both the journey there and back were excellent. A large mini bus for the 4 of us and very friendly and careful drivers on both trips. I’d emailed before and while away to check everything was OK and it couldn’t have gone smoother. On our return journey, leaving at 7am, the driver was there ready at 6.45am so plenty of time to load up and get to the airport.

Never used this service before, always, went on the coach transport. 😒but my son had used this taxi service. And told me they were very good. I will definitely be not going on the coach transport again. Will all ways go with this taxi company. Very helpful and professional.

This is the first time using Cheap Taxis and it won’t be the last. From our first enquiry about the service with Paul we felt confident booking.
The driver was waiting for us as we came out of baggage reclaim, he took us to the mini bus which was clean and comfortable. On the return journey we asked to change our pick up time and this was done straight away for us, the driver was spot on time for pick up. They even followed this up when we got home checking everything went well with our pick up.
