Treviso airport is Venice’s 2nd airport which is mainly used by the low-cost airlines, namely Ryanair and Wizzair to name but two.
It is a small airport that generally processes over one million passengers each year.
It can get very busy in the summer months.
One thing you note is the departures hall is very large and is located on the first floor of the terminal.
Seating can be sparse at times so you may find plenty of people sitting on floors etc.
The terminal seemed very clean on our visit and the staff was friendly enough.
Checkin hall was busy and did get crowded and we noted some passengers had been waiting some time to get checked in.
Once through security there are the usual retail outlets, duty-free and cafes, prices seem to be the normal expensive rates so don’t be surprised!
At the airport, you can get 30min free WiFi access and there seems to be plenty of charging stations both land-side and air-side.
Toilets seem to be well maintained with good baby changing facilities and good facilities for the disabled.
On the ground floor, you will find a tourism office and also all the car hire companies. There is also a VIP lounge.
ATMs are also located if you need to access any cash, there is also a first aid point.
