SALZBURG AIRPORT - SOME INTERESTING FACTS.
Salzburg airport is located 3km from Salzburg city and even has its own motorway connection via the A1 and A10.
It has two terminals but terminal 2 hosts special guest chefs in hanger 7 which offers high ended restaurants.
Both terminals have good retail outlets offering a good selection of gifts, souvenirs, books and newspapers and both have a duty free shopping area.
It’s a small airport but very efficient and well run. If you are travelling with children there are play areas located in the Panorama marketplace located on the first floor in terminal 1. Good Wi-Fi connection throughout the airport.
The airport has very good disabled facilities, plenty of lifts and easy access doorways.

On the upper level of terminal 1 is a great viewing deck and offer stunning views of the runway, so if you fancy a bit of plane spotting especially with the kids this is where to head to.
